For Unique Polishing, 2023 has been a successful year. It has presented new opportunities and allowed the company to grow in both new and existing market sectors. Our team has grown with the hire of new employees, including an apprentice, and we have won some significant contracts in the pharmaceutical and nuclear sectors.
This year Unique Polishing exhibited at its first (and second) exhibition, showcasing our unique capabilities at the UK Metals Expo at the NEC in September. A great introduction into trade shows, the expo allowed the team to network with key industry suppliers and leading brands, generating a number of solid leads and new business. We look forward to exhibiting again in 2024!
The launch of our new pickling and passivation services in 2022 have made a significant impact on our growth within the UK’s thriving nuclear sector this year. Alongside this, Directors Danny and David sponsored and attended the Nuclear Manufacturing Summit in Rotherham in October, hosted by the Nuclear AMRC. The event brought together leaders from across the sector, with an abundant series of thought leadership talks and round table discussions.
